But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in His flesh the law with its commands and regulations. Ephesians 2:13-14 (NIV)

The times, they are a-changin' … and not in a good way!

During my writing hiatus these past few months—believe it or not, I've been very, unusually, busy … go figure. I have had occasion to watch on that (idiot) box in my living room as more and more unprecedented and decidedly unpleasant events continue to unfold all around us. I've heard calls to “Defund the police” and “dismantle or disband the police”. I've heard the names, many of which I was brought up to believe were the hero's, the Founding Fathers of this great nation as it was taught to me all those years ago, besmirched and insulted by people who seem to have no idea that this country wouldn't exist for them to protest in had it not been for these great men and women. I've heard our government officials call for the tyranny and oppression of the capitalist system, upon which this country rose to significance on the world stage, to be dismantled and replaced with … well … to be honest, I have no idea what they want to replace it with.

Or do I?

In the first sentence of the second paragraph of this article, I used the word “unprecedented” to describe the current events happening in this country. Well, I was wrong … on purpose. See, one of the things that I was taught in school—all those years ago—was that when we forget our past, we are destined to repeat it. The examples of the ideas (and I use that word loosely) that I mentioned above are but three of the weapons that have been used over and over throughout this world's history to expand the influence of those who wanted to change the status quo into something that they believe is better. A better government. A better society to live in. A better way of life for the masses to enjoy. These are people whom I will refer to as “useful idiots”. You see, these idealists have a clear path toward their goals embedded inside their minds. They live it, breathe it, eat it and want everyone else to feel the same as they do. So much so that they aggressively (to put it mildly) impose their ideals upon others, often at the end of a spear—or the muzzle of a gun. They are zealots, bent on “change” and will use any means necessary (sound familiar?) to accomplish this. Recently, there have been a number of events, with varying degrees of success, where “citizens” have risen up and set in place “autonomous zones” within American cities where they shouted … well, all kinds of vile things at those first responders who were there to serve and protect them. These idiots—sorry idiots—actually pulled their own injured away from EMS responders who were trying to save their lives. And, sadly, many people, all over the country, were seriously hurt or even lost their lives during this complete lawlessness. Meanwhile, some of the city officials in these incidents actually labelled these violent thugs Patriots of all things.

Idiots!

I know that you're aware of these things. After all, what else have you had to do during this unprecedented—this time I used the word properly—lockdown but watch this craziness that's happening in our homeland. How far have we fallen as a civilization to allow this to happen in the 21st century? We've let these “useful idiots” occupy, if not our streets, but those of our brothers and sisters. And these idiots have done this using the very weapons and intimidation that they claim to be protesting against to accomplish this. Why? Because that's what their puppet masters told them to do.

Like I said, “useful idiots”.

I keep using that term because I want to drive home the point that these people cannot be reasoned with. They are mindless pawns, doing the bidding of people that they've probably never even heard of who are funding them. People like George Soros (see the eight part series entitled War! published on this site over a year ago to learn about the motivations of this individual) who's lifelong goal it has been to destroy this country.

And he is not alone!

When the “useful idiots” accomplish the goals of those whose direction they are following, they will be the first who are eliminated. See, the real people with the power behind this “movement” will know who the rabble-rousers are, and they won't give them the opportunity to turn on them. That's how it works. One of the most recent examples of this happened in Nazi Germany. That's right! The people who are protesting and calling their targets Nazis and fascists are the real oppressors. Organizations like BLM and ANTIFA—who are far from being loosely affiliated leftists … far from it—do not care who they hurt so long as their goals are achieved. And they have no idea what's waiting for them once they are accomplished. Thus … “useful idiots”.

Remember, these people cannot be reasoned with! No matter what you try to tell them, there are others who will recognize the threat that you represent to their “movement” and will use any means necessary to silence you. Do not attempt to change their minds. Don't even speak to them. Because it could get you seriously hurt or worse.

Recently, I heard a horrific story of a woman who was shot and killed simply because she uttered the words “all lives matter” when confronted by a member of BLM. Might this have been you? I know I've said the very same words recently!

So, what do we do? We do the right thing. We do what Jesus told us to do. We love God, and we love our neighbors as ourselves. But we do not compromise our convictions. We do not “bend the knee” to those who demand that we support their unjust causes. Because, if we do, they will never stop until either we are one of them, or we are no longer relevant to them. I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to going home to heaven. But I don't believe that God sacrificed His only Son for us on the cross so we could be sheep to those who would oppress us. And if you don't think that can happen …

Wake up sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you. Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5: 14-15 (NIV)

Today is the day. Now is the time. The battle is on!

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
